The art of enameling is renowned for its luminous, glossy surface, which is hard and long-lasting, making it an esteemed process for thousands of years. Each handcrafted charm is hand-painted with various layers and shades of powdered, colored glass, then fired at high temperatures. The powder melts, flows, and then hardens to a smooth, durable vitreous coating that is fused to the precious metal.

OUR STORY

Jewelry by Cari is a stunning collection of handcrafted fine jewelry created by Rory and Cari Streeter since 2003. Their original sculpted charms and shimmering chains are designed to be interchangeable, making it easy to mix metals, layer necklaces, and stack meaningful pieces into combinations that feel both timeless and current.

Cari sculpts each original design in metal clay before it is cast in recycled sterling silver or solid 14k gold. Rory then transforms these forms into finished fine jewelry with hand-stamped details, raised gold lettering, and flush-set diamonds, creating pieces that are both personal and enduring.

Today, Jewelry by Cari is available at select designer jewelry boutiques across the country and at their flagship store in downtown Hood River, Oregon. There, customers can explore the full collection, create personalized pieces at the Charm Bar, and enjoy the experience of custom-fit permanent jewelry made on the spot.
